Payment Policy


SHAMARI VISUALS PAYMENT POLICY

1. NON-REFUNDABLE RETAINER & BOOKING

To secure your session date, a non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. By submitting your deposit, you understand that this is a non-refundable retainer that fairly compensates me, your photographer, for blocking out time for your session and turning down potential work during that window.


Once your deposit is received, your date is officially held on Shamari Visuals' calendar exclusively for you.

I understand life happens. But there are no exceptions to this policy because it needs to be fair to you and to every other client who books with me. If I make exceptions for some, it wouldn't be fair to everyone else. So I have to hold this line for all of us.


2. CANCELLATION POLICY

I know that sometimes life doesn't go as planned, and I never want you to feel stuck. If you need to cancel your session, you don't owe the final payment that's my way of meeting you where you are.


Your deposit, however, is forfeited upon cancellation. Your deposit honored my time and the opportunities I turned down to hold that date exclusively for you.


What I can do for you is apply that deposit toward a new session if you decide to book again within the same calendar year. I want to make sure there's still a path forward for us to create something beautiful together. 🤍


3. RESCHEDULING POLICY

Life happens and I completely understand. You're welcome to reschedule your session up to two times at no additional charge just give me as much notice as you can.


If a third reschedule is needed, a new deposit will be required to hold your new date. This policy exists to protect both of us and ensure that we're both able to honor our commitment to each other.


4. FINAL PAYMENT

The remaining balance is due in full the day before your session. You will receive a payment link via email to submit your final payment. All payments must be made through the link I send you.


5. PAYMENT PLANS

Payment plans are absolutely available. If you need to break it into payments, let's talk about it during the inquiry process. We'll map out a schedule that works for you and confirm everything in writing before your session.


6. GALLERY DELIVERY & DIGITAL FILES

You'll receive your complete gallery digitally within three weeks of your session, or sooner if you've purchased rush delivery. Your files are yours to keep, print, share, and treasure forever.


As the photographer, I retain full copyright of all images captured during your session. All images are the property of Shamari Visuals and may be used for website, portfolio, social media, advertising, and promotional purposes. If you prefer that your images not be used for promotional purposes, please let me know in writing before or at the time of your session and I will honor that request.


7. RUSH DELIVERY

Rush delivery is available for an additional fee:


1-week rush delivery — $50

3-day rush delivery — $75


Rush delivery must be requested and paid for at the time of your session. Standard delivery is three weeks.


8. ADD-ONS & EXTRAS

Add-ons including Polaroids, Rush Delivery, Albums, and Video Reels are paid separately from your session investment and are non-refundable once ordered or after your session is complete.


9. TRAVEL FEES

Travel fees are separate from your session investment and are non-refundable:


Phoenix & Scottsdale area — included

Greater Phoenix (Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert) — $50

Mountain Sessions (Sedona, Flagstaff, Payson) — $100


Travel fees must be paid in full by the time of your session.


10. STUDIO SESSIONS

Studio sessions are available and priced separately from standard packages. Studio rental fees are separate and determined during the inquiry process. Studio sessions follow all the same payment and rescheduling policies outlined here.


11. AGREEMENT TO TERMS

By submitting your deposit and booking with Shamari Visuals, you agree to everything outlined in this Payment Policy. If you have any questions before you book, please reach out I want you to feel completely confident and comfortable moving forward.
